Worked as Digital Compositor on this intense psychological thriller series, handling multiple complex shots across 8 episodes. The project demanded seamless integration of practical and digital elements, with a focus on maintaining the dark, atmospheric tone of the show.

Shot Challenges & Solutions

Challenge 1: Complex Green Screen Integration

The series featured numerous scenes with actors against green screens that needed to be composited into practical locations. The lighting conditions varied significantly, requiring careful color matching and edge work.

Solution: Developed a robust keying pipeline using advanced edge techniques to preserve fine details like hair and clothing texture. Implemented a custom color correction workflow to match the moody aesthetic of the series.

Challenge 2: Cleanup and Set Extensions

Several shots required extensive cleanup work and digital set extensions to enhance the production value while maintaining the grounded, realistic feel of the show.

Solution: Used a combination of projection techniques and 2.5D compositing to extend practical sets seamlessly. Maintained consistent grain structure and lens characteristics throughout all shots.
